UniBo Motorsport won the 11th edition of Formula SAE Brasil, at Piracicaba track, Sao Paolo state, Brazil.
Formula SAE is an innovative competition in which university students from all over the world compete to design and produce a formula prototype.
Cineca collaborates with the team providing HPC resources.

After a challenging race, facing fierce competitors and extreme weather conditions, the UniBO Motorsport team achieved very high scores in every test and a remarkable performance against prestigious rival teams such as FEI and UNICAMP, which feature among the top-ten teams in the world ranking and can count on the international experience gained in their yearly partaking in Michigan and Lincoln competitions (FSAE USA).

UniBo Motorsport was the first non-Latin American team in years to take part in the competition.

All static events had especially positive results: the UniBO Motorsport team ranked first in the Business Plan, second in the Design (after 2.5 hours of Design Final) and second again in the Cost Report competition, which was sensibly different from its European equivalent. The results were also the new best overall records for UniBo Motorsport in an official international championship.
