SCAI – Super Computing Applications and Innovation

SCAI is the HPC department of CINECA. Its mission is to develop and promote technical and scientific services related to digital infrastructures for high performance computing, data intensive computing and repository for scientific data for the Italian and European research community.

Main focus of SCAI are:

• high perfomance computing;
• management and repository of large volumes of data;
• support to and collaboration with the national research community;
• co-design of HPC technologies and solutions with HPC suppliers;
• advanced training and tutoring to researches willing to enhance their HPC knowledge;
• collaboration with research groups and national research institutions.
