Call for proposals for 13th PRACE Project Access

Dear Users, 
CINECA invites all interested scientists, whose projects fit the criteria of the PRACE calls to submit their projects. The criteria for the PRACE calls as well as complete information on the PRACE machines, how to apply and on the PRACE peer review process can be found at http://www.prace-ri.eu/prace-project-access/

The 13th Calls for Proposals for Project Access will be will be open from 7 March 2016, 13:30 CET until 1 April 2016, 17:00 CEST.
Important dates:

Opening date: 7 March 2016, 13:30 CET
Closing date: 1 April 2016, 17:00 CET
Administrative check: 4 to 8 April 2016
Technical check: 11 to 22 April 2016
Scientific check: 25 April to 24 May 2016
Applicants’ reply to reviews: 25 May to 1 June 2016
Allocation decisions: Last 2 weeks of July 2016
Allocation start date of awarded proposals: 1 September 2016
Allocation end date of award: 31 August 2017

Important dates pertaining to the 12th Call for Project Access:

Anticipated allocation decisions: first week of March 2016
Allocation start date of awarded proposals: 14 March 2016
Allocation end date of award: 13 March 2017

Applications for Project Access must use codes that have been previously tested and that demonstrate high scalability and optimisation to multi-core architectures or that demonstrate a requirement for ensemble simulations that need a very large amount of CPU overall.
