Marconi100 – login issue solved and recommendations about hpc-sdk suite usage

Dear users,
we inform you that login nodes of Marconi100 are now again accessible.We are investigating with the help of IBM and Nvidia the reasons of the issue.The problem seems to be associated to the usage of the hpc-sdk compilators that, during compilation, cause kernel panic on login nodes that automatically reboot.
Until the investigation is not completed and we have in place all the necessary countermeasuers, we strongly recommend *not to use login nodes to compile you codes* when using hpc-sdk suite. We recommend instead to compile your code on a compute node that you can take in exclusive mode with interactive jobs.This is to avoid to impact the other users work.
