LONG RANGE PLANNER: LONG-RANGE DRONES MISSION PLANNER TO ENHANCE POWER LINE DIGITIZATION
FuVeX aims to lead the revolution of autonomous aircraft. their current mission is to replace manned helicopters in electricity line inspections to inspect more than 5 million km of electricity lines in Europe. For this purpose, piloted helicopters are currently used, which are expensive, risky and polluting. Long-range drones can replace helicopters, but mission planning is a crucial challenge in ensuring security and obtaining useful data during operations over distances of up to 20 km.
